PaaS is a cloud computing model where a third-party provider will provide hardware and software tools, primarily those needed for application development. Microsoft Azure App Service, Amazon Web Services, Google App Engine are all examples of PaaS.

Infrastructure as
a Service (IaaS)

IaaS gives businesses the option to have a vendor provide and manage hardware on their end. These services enable you to remove the frustrations of having to operate infrastructure of their own. Microsoft Azure server virtualisation is an excellent example of IaaS, allowing you to install, configure and scale up servers on Microsoft’s Infrastructure and then access those online.
